Video Quality
Hey all,
For me, at least, the quality on these videos is lacking. The flip automatically saves the videos as MP4 files. I have had some luck playing them back using Xvid/Divx, so I’m going to see if changing the filetype from MP4 to something else helps. If you watch the video in a smaller pane, it’s not so choppy. I’ll play with it more on Sunday or Monday and repost the video...
My apologies for this being a bit rough. I’m still getting the hang of both operating the camera and being in front of it. The important part: I had fun and am excited to post more!

Video Blog inbound...
I have a video blog uploading to TubeMogul right now… Unfortunately, my connection (further hindered by the fact that I’m uploading over my house’s wireless net instead of a hardline… silly me) is slow enough to make this take a while. I’ll post it here first thing tomorrow, but I will say this: It’s pretty cheesy! I’m still figuring out the FlipCam, so...

Lew in his element: Hiking in Colorado
My friend Lew is an amazing person and great guitarist. I’ve had the pleasure of conversation with him for nearly ten years on the Seymour Duncan User Group Forum, arguably one of the best forum’s for guitar player’s on the Web.
When I was a junior in high school, Lew gave me his firsthand accounts of the race riots that occurred in...

Taking “cocktail dresses” to the next level: pairing drink with dress. Awesome.

First, thanks to Daniel-Noah Robbin for turning me on to this blog. I’ve been following it for maybe two weeks now and it’s consistently delivering the wry smiles. Kind of reminds me of old newspaper cartoons.
Shoes & Cocktails →
I just started reading and following this blog. I’m big on cocktails and (men’s) fashion, but frequently get drafted by my female friends on issues such as shoes. All you “Sex and the City” type women should be keeping an eye on this, especially if you’re getting tired of those Cosmopolitans.
Snobby Bartenders « Mark Sexauer’s Cocktail Blog →
Another great entry from a bartending blog. Mark Sexauer (what a great name for a bartender, eh?) talks about keeping cool in the face of ignormaus customers and finding how to work some “cocktail dork” magic to keep them coming back.

This brief synopsis of a dinner conversation speaks brilliantly about the performance aspect of bartending. Bartenders have been both romanticized (Sam Malone of Cheers) and derided as losers (Moe from The Simpsons). Crazylandia nails the importance of knowing a repertoire for both customers and fellow bartenders.
Hah! Tumblr phone-ins are only like 60 seconds. I’ll write the rest soon enough. http://kenmoorhead.com
Going to try out this “post audio by phone” feature from Tumblr for my blog http://www.kenmoorhead.com. Updates later today…
Welcome!
Thanks for checking out my blog. I’m still working on getting things set up with Tumblr as this is the first time I’ve done a website with a purchased address. Hopefully you got here by going to http://www.kenmoorhead.com. If not… well, hopefully you’ll be able to do that soon!
